Finished after a very hot and sticky 3 or 4 days. This was a
frustrating, but satisfying, piece to paint. It started out in one
direction then ended in another as it took on a life of it’s own.
Perhaps that is how art and writing are supposed to happen - they create
themselves.
The setting is primarily a fig newton of my imagination with no particular place in mind. I referred to some images from the Central Oregon Coast for color and texture, and that was about it. The rest just happened.

The painting is oil on canvassed board and measures 11" by 14" and is
framed (once I get it in the frame - a narrow black one). The price is
